From popular video games and anime characters to animals and nature motifs, Japan is renowned for its creative bento box designs.
Your host–Grandma Junko–was born and raised in Nagoya. She nurtured her passion for healthy Japanese cooking, went on to open a natural food store, and teaches cooking classes to eager students from all over the world. Grandma Junko puts her heart and soul into the food she prepares, and this seasonal bento box-making class is no exception!

Each bento comes with a miso soup filled with seasonal veggies hand selected by a self-professed vegetable sommelier (your host).
